Information we collect

We may collect an account owner’s name, contact details, login and account records, parent or guardian settings, limited child-profile details such as a display name or age range, assigned content lists, device and technical data, cookie information, analytics events, and support communications. Please do not add unnecessary identifying information to a child profile.

Payments and subscriptions

We receive transaction references, plan details, payment status, currency, country, and limited billing information needed to provide access and support an order. Full card, bank, or wallet credentials are processed by approved payment providers and are not stored directly by SafeKidApps.

How information is used

We use information to authenticate users, provide parent-managed profiles, deliver selected content and subscriptions, secure and improve the service, respond to support, comply with applicable law, and keep necessary business records.

Sharing and third parties

Information may be handled by service providers used for authentication and data services (including Supabase), website hosting, analytics, customer support, WooCommerce checkout, and approved payment providers. Embedded YouTube content is subject to YouTube’s own policies. We do not sell child-profile information.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies or similar storage support authentication, security, preferences, checkout, and service operation. Analytics may help us understand aggregate use. See the Cookie Policy for controls and details.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for service, legal, accounting, dispute, and security purposes. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, account owners may request access, correction, export, restriction, objection, or deletion. Some records may need to be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, tax, or dispute purposes. Australian Privacy Act and GDPR rights may apply depending on the person and circumstances.

Children’s privacy
